In Japan, space is so limited that parking lots are actually high rise buildings. Sometimes 10 stories or more. They put your car on a circular carousel while a turntable revolves it to drive away....Very efficient.
Underneath the busy streets of Paris are over 400 miles of tunnels. Many of these contain the bones remains of millions of Parisians moved from overcrowded cemeteries in the late 1700's. Their skeletons, long since dis-interred from the churchyard graves their survivors left them in, are neatly stacked and aligned to form the walls of nearly one kilometer of walking passage.

In 1999 I went to California and bought a 1987 Porsche 928 S4. I drove it back to Texas. Somewhere in the Arizona desert, I took it up to 145 mph. It handled so smooth and quite. Damn, I wish I still had this car. I sold it in 2004.
