Well, I promised I'd try and do the BBC coverage again, and now it's here. I have attempted to do my best impersonation of the legendary commentary stylings of the great Murray Walker and the late James Hunt, commentating is not as easy as it looks but I hope you enjoy. :)
This is the first part of 5 clips of a 30 lap race around Monza.
I'm working on a new version of the Silverstone 1987 - 1990 circuit using Bob's Track Builder. This version will also include the club circuit used during this period.
Please excuse the black flag I got when I went down the club circuit straight. :P
The fastest lap I've managed to set so far in a Williams FW07 around Monaco (something around 1:35 if I remember rightly) with ALL driver aids off and also using the Logitech G25 steering wheel with the gear lever and clutch.
Some more progress made since my last video. Grid lines, kerbs, barriers and flyovers now added. I've also re-profiled the final chicane as it was a bit innacurate previously.
Some bad news first, the other parts of that Monza commentary all went missing when my computer was doing a clean-up. Including the original RFactor replay files as well. But never mind, I thought this might make up for it.
You might also notice in this clip that I've slightly altered a couple of the 1988 car skins, particularly the McLarens and Williams cars to make them look more accurate.
Me going for a quick spin around the legendary Hermanos Rodriguez circuit in a 2005 Williams BMW FW27. I'm still quite new to this game and it's tricky using a controller hence why I have aids like Traction control and auto-shifting on.
Michael Schumacher, Ivan Capelli, Kimi Raikkonen and Felipe Massa all demonstrate how to use the "Ferrari Car Park" at the Rascasse Hotel in Monte Carlo.
