This was from about 1977. The best trumpet section, IMHO, MF had: Joe Mosello, Stan Mark, Dennis Noday, and Ron Tooley. Dig Peter Erskine on drums..dynamite.
Another clip from the Canadian Stage Band Festival. If you had never seen Primal Scream live, it was much better than the recorded version.. IMHO. Mark Colby is the sax soloist, Gordon Johnson bass, and Joe Mosello on the congas.
From the Budweiser Newport Jazz Festival. Soloists include MF, Daniel Jordan on tenor, Tim Ries on alto, Denis DiBlasio on baritone sax, piccolo and scat singing, Ron Pedley piano.
I know this was posted on YouTube before, but the video was a poor quality. Just wanted to put up a little better clip. This is probably one of the best clips of MF playing Maria, absolutely incredible.

From a 1965 concert... the tune is Whirly-bird and features the great tenor sax of Lockjaw Davis, and ex-Maynard Ferguson drummer Rufus 'Speedy' Jones.
