I use an E-Bow for electric guitar mostly, but I discovered that it works on acoustic guitars too! Not the wound strings though... FYI: The Black thing on my neck is a brace. I just had a disc removed and replaced with a piece of my hip. OUCH! I was healing for a month away from my home and all I had was my acoustic guitar, my video camera and a few other sound toys.
