Now living in Milford, Connecticut, USA, John comes originally from Luton, England. This music was recorded at the Comhaltas North American Convention in Boston in 2003.

Legendary accordion player Bobby Gardiner plays a hornpipe, a jig and a reel on melodeon at the Peig Ryan Tribute Concert. Bobby, currently a member of the Brú Ború Troupe in Cashel, Co. Tipperary, lived in the USA during the 1960s.

All-Ireland Senior Accordion Champion of 1991 Michael O'Connell plays a selection of reels, commencing with "The Bunch of Keys". Michael played this music at the West London Branch of Comhaltas' 50th Anniversary Concert at The Irish Centre, Hammersmith on 27th April, 2007. Michael's uncle Tom, who hails from West Limerick, won the title in 1981.

Another great street session at Fleadh 2007 in Tullamore, led by the Curtin sisters - Gretta on concertina and Catherine on flute - and Anne-Marie Fitzgerald on fiddle from Brosna, Co. Kerry. They play a selection of reels. The first tune, composed by Ed Reavy, is "The Hunter's House", and the last reel is "The Reconciliation".

Now we present a solo by Billy McComiskey, the proud owner of the grey Paolo Soprani accordion formerly played by the late Séan McGlynn. Billy had it specially reconstructed with reeds fitted by Martin Connolly, manufacturer of the very popular "Kincora" accordion. Billy plays two reels: "The Man of the House" and "The Rainy Day."
