Tim ran solo in the Marine Corp Marathon on Sunday and managed to set a CureTour record of 3:45. Tim ran in honor of Joe Kindregan and in memory of Zach Klein.
It was a quick turn around for Tim as he hit the pavement at 8am with a great crew at the Pumpkin Fest in Zeeland. A HUGE crowd of supporters gathered at the Jenison High School to cheer Tim on and run with him for the last of the 26.2 mile route.
Hemet was the last stop in California on the A-T Cure Tour. 16-year old Scott Gover ran with Tim for the last half mile. Scott has a rare case of A-T, and researchers think he may hold one of the keys to unlock the mysteries of the A-T disease.

It was another impressive day on the A-T Cure Tour as Tim ran the Chicago Marathon in record heat conditions. At noon, the race was canceled due to excessive heat, more than 300 were transported to area hospitals due to heat related ailments...amazingly Tim clocked his personal best on the A-T Cure Tour with a time of 4:16:30!!!
Rain clouds stayed away for day 55 of the A-T Cure Tour. It was a beautiful fall day in Carlisle. Tim ran for and with Douglas Fickel, Alivia Steinfelt and Caitlyn Tilghman. Douglas' older sisters ran with Tim for a good portion of today's race. Way to go ladies!!!
Curious U.S. Border Agents gave Tim and Mike a bit of a hard time at upon re-entry, but the eventually they made the crossing into New York for Day 59 of the A-T Cure Tour. Tim was joined by "Catwoman" aka Tori Bement on a beautiful fall day in Rochester.
Brisk AM temperatures greeted Tim and a huge crowd at the "Hope With Every Step" event in Littleton, CO. Tim ran for 12- year old Katie Leasure & 3-year old twins Ben and Rebekah Ward. By the end of race, the sun warmed our bodies and hearts of hope!
High winds and cold rain caused by remnants of Hurricane Noel hampered route conditions on Day 62 of the A-T Cure Tour. Tim, Mike and crew plowed forward as they made of the best of their final day togehter on the A-T Cure Tour. Next Stop...our final destination in New York City!
A beautiful fall day in Loveland for day 42 of the A-T Cure Tour. Congresswoman Jean Schmidt ran the entire 26.2 miles with Tim- her 68th marathon. She'll run for A-T again in two weeks at the Marine Corp Marathon in Washington D.C. Tim ran in memory of Danny Fike who died of complications of A-T in 1994, he was 31. His mother Prudy came to the event today.
Tim endured muggy Texas heat for another 26.2 miles, to successfully complete 20 consecutive marathons. Several A-T families and kids participated in the run and celebrated at the finish line as Tim is almost 1/3 of the way to his final goal of 63 consecutive marathons.
Day 7 of the A-T CureTour completed a full week of marathons. Santa Clarita was the backdrop for this stop and the HOT California heat continued to travel with him. Tim's on a quest to raise awareness and funds for the A-T Children's Project.
Day 40 of the A-T Cure Tour in Fairborn, Ohio. Morning rain showers subsided for the afternoon run as Tim ran in memory of Meagan Dennison, Tim pushed her brother Jacob for the fun run.
Tim is as strong as ever as he completed his 61st consecutive marathon in Stratford, CT. Robbie Smarz' High School welcomed Tim and sent him off with an awesome marching band start.
RAIN did not stop Tim Borland from running 26.2 miles through Independence, MO on day 30 of 63. The skies cleared in the late afternoon for a great tailgate party.
