I decided to go for a different feel with this video...and am happy with the change. It feels a bit more mature and edgy. The vid is composed of a good mixture of artistic and technical components. Mostly balls, but I just got rings for Christmas, so there's some clips from one of my first "ring breakouts". Hope you enjoy, and thanks for watching!
Team Heartwood, coached by Erin Stephens, has created a second video to show y'all the progress they've been making over the past few months. It's super fun! Check it out!
This video has nothing to do with Las Vegas, but I made it from practice clips while being bored in Vegas, waiting to practice with Jason. It's the first vid I've made since I started training clubs again, and has a lot of new moves I've been working on since WJF. (Warning - not much artistic merrit in this one - I only had training clips to work with)
Have you ever had a time when you thought about a move or a combo, and figured it would take you 2-6 months to learn? And then you try it and either get it on your first try or within your first practice session? Well, this is a video of moments like that, which have happened over the past 2 weeks. Song inspired by Yomay's comment: "I'm impressed...AND you're a girl!"
It's been 15 months since we last made a video, and the progress has been awesome. Coaching these kids and watching them grow has been one of the most amazing endeavors of my life.
We just got back from camping trip in Canyonlands National Park in southern Utah. This is the footage. Special thanks to Ted Pasternack! Music by: Tatu
