Finally, we meet up with Drake, an old sailor turned dragon tamer.
For this bout, Ice Pokemon are a must, with some strong backup in case they fall.
Good luck, trainers!
Despite our attempt to stop Archie, he summons Kyorge anyway...but the summoning doesn't go according to plan.
(Ruby players, Maxie will awaken Groudon here)
(Emerald players, this starts a grand event where you have to summon Rayquaza in time to stop both teams)
At long last, we begin our challenge against Houen's Elite 4. First up is Sidney, the Dark master.
If you have Fighting or Bug Pokemon, they'll help immensely. Also consider that most of Sidney's Pokemon (except for two) have a second type.
Good luck, trainers!
Our League challenge begins with Lorelei, the first of the E4. Contrary to what any guide will tell you, she actually has a lot of Water Pokemon, so a Pikachu/Raichu or Zapdos are safe bets. The only Ice Pokemon you'll have to worry about is Jynx, but Moltres/Ninetales/Ar canine/Charizard should handle that.
Good luck, trainers!
Round 2 of the E4 is Bruno, a Rock/Fighting Master. Water, Ice, Psychic, and Flying Pokemon are good bets here, but he'll still give you a real challenge.
Good luck, trainers!
At last, we face off against Steven one last time to prove ourselves as champion!
All I can tell you is to give him everything you've got.
Emerald players, you will face Wallace here for the ultimate battle.
(This episode ran very long, so I hit the highlights)
Good luck, trainers!
At last, we face of against Lance, the dragon master!
Ice Pokemon are a must, but keep a water Pokemon on standby for Aerodactyl, and an electric type for Gyarados.
Good luck, trainers!
