One more time....a music video/trailer for the upcoming Superman Returns. Instead of using the ubiquitous Williams score, I decided to have some fun with this and do something a little different. Don't know how well it'll play on YouTube's player, but if it's out of sync (which is often the case), let me know in the comments and I'll provide links to download both a Quicktime and AVI. Enjoy!
This was a TV promo spot I wrote, directed, shot, and edited for Discovery Channel/Animal Planet back in 2001. The company I was working for was going to do 2-3 more, all based on upcoming nature programming , but 9/11 hit and a lot of priorities changed. I ended up leaving the company shortly thereafter, but it would haave been nice to do more.
A lot of you have already seen this here on YouTube. I made this back in Dec, but since it was originally put on the web as a Quicktime cropped to the actual aspect ratio, it got stretched vertically when linked here, messing up the viewing quality a bit. So here's a version letterboxed to the correct aspect ratio. Please use this one if you're going to link/send it. Thanks!
Is anyone else getting sick of all these Superman Fan Trailers? Boy, I sure am. Everybody and their uncle is doing the trailer disco these days. I think we should license software like we license drivers...you should take some sort of test...not that that keeps maniacs off the road, mind you ;-) . Anyway...one last ilttle edit. Sigh.
This is the trailer for "Arthur: A Celebration Of Life", a feature-length docu-drama that I edited last year, as well as doing some of the cinematography. It has played in several major festivals and is currently seeking distribution. For more info, go to http://www.dinkenter tainment.com .
Already here, but figured I'd include it with the rest of mine. Here's a small 30's - style B&W faux-trailer I slapped together using various shots for the upcoming Superman Returns, the original Donner film, and various old-time footage pulls...done to the audio from the original George Reeve's series. Just a fun little trip down memory lane for us old-timers....
My KFC entry from years ago....didn't realize you couldn't submit animation until one day into it, and only two days till deadline, so I decided to just finish it and send it in anyway...their response was....amusing....to say the least.
