2nd Ranked Texas A&M takes on 5th ranked Texas in an epic battle in 1975. The Aggies under coach Emory Bellard take the win and launch a great era of Texas A&M football.
At the pinnacle of the Jackie Sherrill era at Texas A&M in the 1988 Cotton Bowl, Lance Pavlas takes over and lifts A&M. Being down 10-3, Pavlas and the Ags get two quick TDs in the second quarter and A&M wins going away 35-10 against Notre Dame and Tim Brown.
1992 Cotton Bowl: 9th ranked Texas A&M barely misses several opportunites that might have given them an historic win against Florida St. and changed history. A&M went undefeated in the SWC that year (8-0)and won the conference title. Florida St. won the game by a score of 10 to 2 and finished the season ranked 4th. A&M finished ranked 12th.
1985: A&M defeats Arkansas 10-6 in a critical game for Jackie Sherrill and the Aggies on the road to a SWC championship and Cotton Bowl. The defense shut out Arkansas and laid the foundation for A&M's "Wrecking Crew" defense, a nickname first used the following year by A&M DB Chet Brooks.
1997 - Texas A&M thoroughly beats down OU in Norman, as the Aggies take a 51-0 lead after 3 quarters before calling off the dogs. The score should have been much worse.
A&M's Bucky Richardson begins his legendary stint as Texas A&M's QB in 1987, coming into the game and leading the Aggies on a final drive to defeat Texas 20-13 and send A&M to the Cotton Bowl against Notre Dame.
1983 Texas A&M vs. Cal. After a great first half by Cal, and a subsequent 3rd quarter rally by A&M, the game ends in a way that could only be described as bizarre.

Van Malone takes on Greg Hill and the Aggies in 1992. The Aggies prevail, but not before Malone shows some gritty football. Malone is now a defensive back coach for Texas A&M.
