Starting from Anderston at M8 junction 19 taking the M8, M80, A80, M80, M876, M9, M8 and A720 to Gogar Roundabout on the Edinburgh Bypass. Includes taking the M876 to Bowtrees roundabout near the Kincardine on Forth Bridge.

This section of urban motorway is quite unique in the UK with its many junctions at close proximity, numerous lane drops and some slip roads merging and diverging on the "wrong" side.

The load was taken via the A977 to Kinross and the M90/A90.

Some views of the Forth Road Bridge toll plaza at Queensferry on 03 February 2008 - one week before the tolls cease.
The current toll plaza shown here was built in 2006 at a cost of £8.5 million and is now about to be removed after less than 18 months of use as the tolls are being abolished at 00:01 on 11 February 2008.
Driving Northbound on the A9 from Helmsdale in Sutherland into Caithness to near Ousdale.
The road from the roundabout leaving Helmsdale to part way up the hill is brand new and way officially opened at the end of August 2008 and bypasses a twisty road via Navidale with some tight bends and steep gradients.

A tempoary 30 mph speed limit is in force, enforced by SPECS average speed cameras.
Heading Northbound on the A9 in Caithness at the Berriedale Braes. The gradient here is a 13% descent then a 13% ascent back up with a harpin on the North side.

Quebec Bridge near Tain in Ross-Shire (http://www.multimap .com/maps/#t=l&map=5 7.78878,-4.08732|14| 4&dp=841&loc=GB:57.7 8881:-4.08735:14|NH7 60796|NH760796) is being replaced after storm damage, a diversion is in place via a forest track to provide local access. The forest track has proper road signs in place with am unusual 15 mph speed limit in force.
