Yesterday afternoon Palma de Mallorca suffered a brief but violent storm. The sky turned as black as night with lightning above the heavy cloud cover. The rain was torrential and the sky turned a dark green colour. Within half an hour it was all over and left behind a multitude of trees destroyed on our street.
I took this video from our hotel balcony. My travel companion was in bed sick and I had too much time to waste. I found this view down on to the street highly amusing. This is quite common and somehow it seems to work.
