Another Youtube video featuring another guitar player playing another guitar solo. Nevertheless, I do get to show off my 335.

I'm not altogether sure about this one; firstly, because Larry Carlton's original is such a classic and, secondly, because the ending is as rough as a badger's nether regions. I also did a number of takes and ended up splicing two together, hence the skip at 2'43"

Another improvisation over a backing track. I did four or five takes for this one and I preferred the start of one and the end of another...so I spliced them together (you'll notice a skip at about 2'24").

Messing about (bloopers and all) on my '82 strat. I've had this guitar for 25 years; it was my main guitar for ten years until it was ousted by one of its younger cousins. Still nice to play from time to time, though.

This is a melody and improvisation over Waciak1974's "Rainy Weather". It's a great piece of music and he was kind enough to e-mail me the score. Hopefully, he'll like what I've done with it.

A trip through the Mersey tunnel, Liverpool to Birkenhead, as seen from the top of a double decker bus. The music is written & performed by yours truly. My brother has put together an alternative (and better) video for this at http://youtube.com/w atch?v=oVzyM7Un-Vk
I originally posted this on 1st January 2008, but it didn't get many hits, so I've retitled it. It's basically just a solo over a Joss Stone track.

When I play a strat I always try to avoid using the tremelo arm too much. However, I didn't exactly follow my own rule here and so this video tends to suffers from a bad case of WBF (whammy bar frenzy).

Another piece by Waciak1974. He really does right some interesting pieces. The chord progression to this is really clever AND pleasant to listen to - and it's not an easy thing to acheive both. I've already put together a video based on his "Rainy Weather", which is equally well written.
