Making an arrow with stone tools - another musical photo essay. There are lots of photos of stone points hafted and ready for action. The music is from an impromptu jam session in my yard with my PaleoPals: Sal, Rick, Phil, Sam, and Ken. As you can tell...many of us aren't musically inclined. What fun!
This is a short version of a photo essay I made concerning bamboo flute making. For the full version with text, check out my photo album at: http://imageevent.co m/paleoaleo/makingat ransverseflutesidebl own
The flute in the video is the flute being made in the photos.
A collection of photos from various gatherings of bowyers and flintknappers from So. California. We usually meet once a month at the Pasadena Archery range. Come visit with us on PaleoPlanet - an on-line discussion forum.
We had some special guests for our May 2008 monthly gathering of Bowmakers, Flintknappers, and atlatlists. Visiting with us were Iliana and Vlad from Bulgaria.
This is pretty much unedited footage taken randomly during the gathering. It was difficult to capture the feel of the day's events and all the activities. The event was much better attended than it appears from the video clips.
