A couple of humanoid robots from Robotis perform gymnastics and real humans have to repeat the movements in a televised competition in Korea. (see robosavvy.com for more details)
Two KHR-2HV have to catch a red flag in the middle of a soccer field. The robots are equipped with infrared sensor mounted on their servo head scanning arround like a radar. It uses a new add-on board called KCB-1 to process the infrared data.

Bioloid equipped with KRG3 gyro connected to Pepper V1 board ( see http://robosavvy.com /forum/viewtopic.php ?t=572start=30 ) hanging by the hands. The Simulink model is swinging in sync with external data sampled in real-time at 100hz.
Robot kit can make use of several included sensors. Programmed by Cricket Lego and Logo-Blocks visual programming system developed by MIT. Great teaching aid for concepts of software and robot control. Check out http://robosavvy.com
This video demonstrates the fast walking capabilities of the Robobuilder kit.
Because it has a lower center of gravity than most humanoids (ie Robonova) it can walk at much faster speeds with improved stability.

3am in the morning and finally we get it right. The Bioloid is swinging with a gyro connected to a Pepper input board connected to the Robotis bus, which reacts as an AX-S1 sensor. Simulink is linked to CM5 and reading the values from the Bioloid bus at 100hz.
RSS-01 - This is an ingenious add-on compatible with KHR-2HV and Manoi AT01. Using one servo (788 or 2350), it enables the robot to perform an elaborate pivot turn that usually would require 2 servos. More info on http://robosavvy.com /forum/
