The Porsche 959 is federalized in the United States thanks to Bruce Canepa, who graciously showed a few SFF1.com members his new restoration facility and museum in Scotts Valley. This is one of 11 present at his shop in early 2007.

New for the Champ Car '07 season is the DP01 chassis which has made standing starts possible at some races this year. At the final test of the 2007 season at Laguna Seca some teams had more success than others practicing launching from the line.
