The last Swedish J35J Draken that still in active service. Built in February 1969 designated model "F". This was the last Draken to be converted to model "J" by Saabs service-life extension program. The plane was delivered in August 1991. This was filmed by me in a private airshow in a windy day, October 2002, just prior to receive a new paintjob.
A pilot C-130 Hercules decided to show off and few 5 meter/16 feet above ground level not far from a few paratrooper heads. The pilot is suspended from flying and facing a dishonorable discharge from the Swedish Airforce. This was filmed by one of the Paratrooper during a drill and send the tape in to the Swedish News. A few days before Christmas in 2002, the last two Saab SK 60 trainers and the last JAS 39 Gripen take off and leave the F10 wing for the last time flying off to the F17 wing on the east coast. On New Year Eve 2002 the wing closed there gates for the last time, ending a 57 year era.
