Baba Yaga was a group fronted by Irish musician Jamie Winchester, together with Hungarian musicians and Russian folk-singers. They made two albums which are a mixture of English lyrics and Russian folk songs.

This was videoed at Maidstone in 1970 just behind my old school at Oakwood Park. I was in the audience and several kids from my school can be seen dancing. How young we were.

The Russian Winter Festival on 13th Jan 2007 was a wonderful showcase for Russian music. Nogu Svelo! played a great set of their hits including this one. There are some others already uploaded if you like this. Yes that is snow blowing across the stage!
