Mozart and classmates sing a famous Spanish Christmas song for a school recital in our small village. The custom at Christmas time is to wear "Pastore" or traditional holiday costumes. She and her friend from the UK were new, so did not know, but still had a blast. This year we were ready when we saw them cropping up in the local stores! This is the first grade class.
Our "Mozart's first flamenco performance in Spain at 6 years old in a small white village in Andalucia. She had just turned 6 and had only been doing it for one month and it was her first dance class ever. She has a passion for music and dance and just took to it.
A magical moment that we stumbled upon on our world tour while walking in Prague in October 2007. A very interesting and talented musician was setting up his glasses to play for the crowd. Even the tuning process was interesting and the sound was magnificent! Enjoy!
This was a fantastic show for all ages.! It is a "must see" if you go to Prague. Wonderfully entertaining and masterfully directed with lots of great surprises. Of course, we had to buy our own Mozart puppet.
We were awed by the beauty of this Michelangelo statue, which was the only one to leave Italy in his lifetime. A peaceful and inspiring moment not to be missed in pretty Brugge, Belgium!
The loud fireworks let us know that the Three Kings or Los Reyes Magos festival had begun in our tiny Andalucian village! This video gives one a real feeling of the joy of this celebration as all the kids run for candy that the 3 kings throw out and everyone sings and has a good time.
We loved our months in Greece taking slow ferries from one island to another at a leisurely pace. It is exciting to arrive by boat to the ancient island of Rhodes and medieval Old Town which is a World Heritage Site. We found it the perfect place to enjoy some Greek dancing!
