Sierra Hull was winning mandolin and guitar contests when she was 13. Alison Krauss invited her to join her on the Grand Ole Opry. Now Sierra Hull of Byrdstown, Tennessee has a debut album coming out on Rounder Records. She and co-producer Ron Block talk about the project in this video bio.
Kathleen Edwards talks about her upcoming Rounder Records release, "Asking For Flowers." We produced this video bio for Rounder Records, who posted it in December, so we've moved this here to our public site. Enjoy.
Mindy Smith sings the title track from her new Christmas album. This was produced as an exclusive web promotion during the holiday season. Now that's over with, we post it here as an example of a real time performance. It was shot in Nashville and that's Bryan Sutton playing guitar.
This music video of Darrell Scott's "Hank Williams' Ghost" from the album of the same name has been posted for a few months, but I wanted to get a copy up here at our home page. The song was recently nominated as Song of the Year by the Americana Music Association. We'll see if it wins Nov. 1. I directed, shot and edited this with the help of John McPherson and Nathan Walker. - Craig Havighurst
