ALAMEDA, Calif.- The Coast Guard announced that it had made record cocaine seizures in 2007 in a press conference held on Coast Guard island here today. Advanced Helicopter Rescue School is located in Astoria Oregon. The U.S. Coast Guard teaches the latest techniques and practices to aircrews from around the country. The school is a week long and runs during the fall and spring months when high seas thrash the Northwest coastline.
