'The Letter Scene'. Every good opera, or film must have a Letter Scene! La Traviata being an apt example. This one rates as one of the best! Without the superb acting of Maggie Smith, and Celia Johnsone, it could so easily have become a mere parody of what Muriel Spark intended. 10/10.
