IRA & The Balcombe Street Siege (1975)
After a chase by the police four IRA activists held a couple hostage in their council flat in Balcombe Street. The siege lasted from 6 December to 12 December 1975 and was broadcast live on television. Police negotiator Peter Imbert craftily feed misinformation to the BBC which the gang heard on a radio. They eventually gave themselves up.

A display given to the residents of Northeden house by the Fife Constabulary Pipeband on saturday 26th april which went down a treat. It had been dull, miserable and wet in the morning, but as soon as the band appeared the sky's cleared and the sun came out. The band have only been together for 6 months and i would recommend you go and see them play as they were brilliant.
