September 26: Almost 2,000 Malaysians, mostly members of the Bar Council walked from the Palace Of Justice to the Prime Minister's Office, in response to corruption in the judiciary. The walk was triggered by the revelation of a video featuring lawyer VK Lingam negotiating with current Chief Justice Tun Ahmad Fairuz to position "key people" in top posts in the Malaysian judiciary.
