Pete Savarese of San Francisco CA fights big jack crevalle with www.tailhunter-inter national.com off Las Arenas beach near La Paz, Baja Mexico on light tackle week of May 25-31, 2008
The hard fighting Jack Crevalle fish's reputation preceeds itself as one of the most contentous bullies in the waters. Jack's, as most anglers call them, are almost always ready for a brawl and when you present them with jigs, bait or lures they'll often crash the party by breaking tackle and/or fishing lines in an instant.
A very nice Jack Crevalle caught by my wife fishing with Captain Tony DelosSantos based at the Marriot in Key Largo, these things really go and it put up a great fight, it was hooked at a secret location when we were fishing for Snook, the place was red hot and we caught a lots of fish, the best of the day was a 34" snook.
