Shot live at Mississippi Nights in St. Louis, Missouri in 1987, this Descendents show is not the original line-up of the band but is probably the most beloved, with Karl Alvarez on bass, Stephen Egerton on guitar and core members Bill Stevenson (drums) and Milo Aukerman (vocals). Minus Aukerman, this is the line-up that would become the band ALL the following year.

This song, released 26 years ago, still stands the test of time and refuses to sound dated. In my opinion, if you were to look for a band who helped shape the sound of what's currently being called punk rock, I'd have to say look no farther than Rendondo Beach, California's own Descendents. The only difference is, they did it well! Give 'em a listen, if ya like what you hear, buy their CD.
