On a restart, Scott Sharp gets bumped off the track by Max Angelelli, then gets spun out by Sam Hornish Jr. However, Sharp's spinning car somehow manages to catch the rear end of Hornish's car in turn 2.
This was one of two bizarre incidents in the 2006 IROC Daytona road course race, the other being Martin Truex Jr.'s wacky adventures in turns 1 and 2.

This is the big wreck of Casey Mears at California in 2008. Mears loses the car coming out of turn 2, strikes the wall, and comes down to tag Dale Earnhardt Jr. with a heavy impact. While everyone is scrambling to avoid the accident, Hornish Jr. strikes the back of Mears's car and flips it.
