This is a simple little tune I wrote for the GREAT James Jamerson. Originaly it had a medium motown-ish groove, But I'm trying it in this 2/3 latin feel. I'm thinking of arranging it for the Bobby Sanabria Quartet. It's goes in and out of clave.... it's just a rough arangement. I'm using My Yamaha TRB 5PII. Let me know what you think.

This one seems to be the subject of debate about whether Jamerson only used one finger, so hopefully this will dispel some of that nonsense. I've spent a couple of hours trying to understand the 1st part of the original and here's where I got to. I've not cracked it yet but I'm nearly there - I just need to relax more on it. Jamerson makes amazing use of the open strings and grace notes on this.
