Shetland filly foal ('Dill') diagnosed with narcolepsy, seen at few days of age. Worst case 'drowsiness' timed at 12 mins. Mare's milk stripped and foal bottle fed in early days to feed foal. Foal soon feeds itself. No further occurrences of narcolepsy by 4th or 5th day. Bouncing and energetic Shetland foal thereafter. Just like its half sister and brother.
