Egyptian security forces on Sunday began closing the last portions of the Rafah border crossing between Egypt and Gaza with barbed wire and other obstacles to stem the flow of Palestinians into Egypt. Hamas declared they have reached an agreement with the Egyptians, successfully casting the Palestinian Authority to one side.03/02/08

Miles de palestinos cruzaron hoy por el paso de Rafah, entre la Franja de Gaza y Egipto, el cual fue abierto con explosivos dispuestos por Hamás. Los palestinos cruzan la frontera para aprovisionarse de víveres y bienes básicos, mientras el bloqueo israelí continúa. Egipto desplegó fuerzas de seguridad para evitar el paso de camiones y vehículos.
