Returning from displaying at Farnborough the F22 Raptor lands and taxis right over to where we were standing for a real close look at this remarkable machine. Shame we did not get a full display will have to wait untill next year but this made up for that as i dont think we would normal be able to get this close!!!!.Just a few hundred poeple there to see this today (14/07/2008) so enjoy!:)

Footage of the F15 F16 and Typhoon from the Air Tattoo, filmed from right underneath them! The typhoon from the damp Sunday at the end is the best with some awesome vapour and shockwaves... RIAT 2007. Excuse the shoddy editing and some iffy camera work. Its hard to film when you have to spin around while standing on rough ground...

The Royal International Air Tattoo at RAF Fairford this year was cancelled due to rain. At the show the only people allowed in were VIPs, FRIAT members, (because there was a concrete car park for them) and members of the ATC. Some rare photos taken by me at RIAT 2008. I went as an air cadet on the thursday before the airshow was due. On friday I was able to watch the pratice displays and on saturday I could look around the virtually empty airfield and take photos along with all the aircrew, VIP's and fellow air cadets.

A G-222 crashes at RIAT RAF Fairford in 2002. No one
was injured. The fire was put out. They were trying to perform a 'Sarajevo Landing'. I was there near the front when it happened.
