A group of 200 activists have marched to the perimeter of the Maale Adumim settlement in the Israeli-occupied West Bank to demand that settlements in the territory continue.
Their call is in contrast to recent pledges by Ehud Olmert, Israel's prime minister, that settlements in the West Bank be dismantled as part of a peace deal with the Palestinians.
