Aug. 23, 2007: All of the recent wet weather has caused a gigantic sinkhole to form along Verona Road in Penn Hills. But the problem is residents there said they were told it's their responsibility to fix it, so they called Call 4 Action for help.
Here are a couple of typical sinkholes found in the landscape above Merthyr Tydfil in South Wales, UK. Such features are typical of karstic regions (such as that found in the Brecon Beacons) and often suggest the presence of caves in the vicinity.
