Unfortunately the EeePC does not work with newer kernels. This is all that happens when a newer kernel is installed. Anything above 10.4.9 (uphuck rev 1.3) appears to result in a hang here, just before we see mention of the BSD Root device getting detected.

Eee PC (hackintouch;-) running some apps (iCal, iTunes, Preview with an pdf and so on). Build in is a 7 inch touchkit and a Dell 1390 wifi card (internet was very slow and shows not the real surfing speed). Installed is the Uphuck V1.3 distro.
