People like to ask me what this organ is about; what makes it so different from other organs, and how does it work?
I did my best to describe the theory of operation so that it would be easily understood, and played some samples of stops to help reinforce it.

This is the jazzy foxtrot "Dance of the Blue Danube" and is one of my "Phantom Duets" where I enhance vintage 1920's Ampico reproducing piano rolls (in this case, one attributed to Vincent Lopez) with the incredible depth and richness of the Wurlitzer Pipe Organ. The perfect combination! (and a real gas to play, too!)

This Phantom Duet is hot, hot, hot! Just listen to that piano travelling all over the place in the third chorus! One of the catchiest foxtrots around (written by Harry Warren, no less) and Adam Carroll's Ampico arrangement sounds like it was just made to be paired with the Mighty Wurlizer. Plus, it's unbelievably fun to play!

Here's another Phantom Duet---Cliff Friend's 1926 hit, "Hello Bluebird". Once again, the AMPICO piano roll artistry is attributed to Mr. Vincent Lopez.
This upload is the first in a new series of Duets, ones shot with three cameras. This one also contains my first stab at special effects at the end. Ooooh! Several more Duets are on the way soon!
