The USS Nimitz CVN68 as she arrives at her home port San Diego, summer 2007. The song "Born in the USA" was played for the crew on the flight deck loudspeakers, and so I added it to the background.
This film is dedicated to her crew.

The USS Ronald Reagan CVN 76 departing San Diego spring of 2008.

A look back at a 2007 vacation; traveling from below sea level at Badwater, Death Valley, up to 12,500 on Mount Whitney.
The two locations are a short drive apart, with a difficult eleven mile Whitney hike starting from 8,300 feet to the highest point in the contigious Unites States (about 14,497 ft).
Badwater, in Death Valley, is the lowest, at 282 feet below sea level.
