Image with audio. A track from Nightclub , just about my favourite jazz album of the last ten years or so. It surprises me she's not more well known, a fine singer and wonderfully subtle pianist.
Image with audio, 1967 live recording at the Lincoln Center. Co-writen with The Seekers Bruce woodley, who had a hit with it in the uk but it was a massive hit in the states for The Cyrkle. I prefer the seekers version to the cyrkle's, mainly because of Judith Durham's fantastic voice.
Image with audio. Laid back souful track from the eponymous 1972 album, the man's written some classic tunes, "see you later alligator", "but i do" etc. and was ripped off on most of them by unscrupulous music businessmen
