The last day of TWA. April 10, 2001 American Airlines bought TWA. With a vengance they set out to destroy one of the grandest airlines in aviation history. July 1, 2003 all TWA flight attendants were furloughed. To date not one TWA Flight Attendant works for American Airlines.
