The Kiteboarder staff saw the 2008 Rise at the Surf Expo and was immediately intrigued by the Venturi vent system built into the canopy. We received an 8m to test and were concerned we would not have enough wind, but luckily we got a 15-20 mph day.
Held in Corpus Christi, TX. the US Wind and Water Open feature 3 different extreme sports in the whole event. Skate Boarding, Wind Surfing, and Kite Boarding. With it's location being in the Downtown area it is one of the best locations for spectators off all ages to come and hang out with the pro!
