George was a regular performer on the "Tony Orlando Dawn Rainbow Hour" show in late 1976. The gig was right up his alley, because he could be himself and work out his routines instead of acting in some bad comedy sketches.
May 15, 1971 - The Mike Douglas Show
Live (at the time) at San Diego California U.S. International University. George does familiar routines, "Muhammed Ali" is included on this among others. Then a very optimistic George sits for an interview with Mike Douglas. Sound is a bit rough, but listenable - enjoy this rarity!

February 25, 1967 - The Hollywood PalaceThis is a clip of George before he found himself, before he developed the routines that we'd all come to know. This is the Carlin that put on a face for the public, before letting his hair out, and growing the beard. The material was pretty tame by today's standards, but is still good stuff.
This routine reminds me a lot of his "Indian Sargeant" bit.
July 20, 1965 - Merv Griffin Show
George's 1st appearance on the Merv Griffin show, doing a bit about commercials, somewhat different than the routine that appeared on his "Take Offs Put Ons" album.
May 2, 1975 The Mike Douglas Show
George working on his "God" bit from the Toledo Window Box album. Four months before hosting the very 1st Saturday Night Live. He sounds kind of stuffy, whether he was sick or it was his cocaine habit i don't know. Interesting to see him using his notes. When I saw him last October he was working out new material and had his notes.
March 18, 1970 - Playboy After Dark
Here we see George in his transformation. He was starting to let his hair grow, but still dressing sharp. His material was leaning a bit more to the risque. While the 1st part of this bit has been carried over from his earlier material, the "Birth Control" bit would end up on FM/AM.

An incomplete interview (i was flipping thru the channels and caught it) I don't have the exact date, the only reference i have is a caller wishing Tom a happy belated birthday (which coincidentally is the same day as George's!)
