testing my recorder outdoors with music, trying to get the ambient sounds as well as the guitar. the recording level is low because i had to adjust due to wind.
Practicing "Awiwi" from Ozzie Kotani's "Guitar Playing Hawaiian Style." Yet another recording on my new guitar.
Recorded in stereo with a hint of magnetic soundhole pickup.
guitar- Washburn F42S
pickup- my ugly looking(but sweet sounding to my ears)Demarzio DP 139
From Ozzie Kotani's book "Playing guitar Hawaiian style"
Some mistakes, and some distortion on loud parts... oh well.... gotta work on playing smoother with more even volume to prevent clipping on youtube. (youtube encoding seems to make clipping more prevalent)
"Awiwi" This is my slowed down version of the song (which is supposed to be played rather quickly).
The rhythm and timing is broken, but that's just how the ball rolls sometimes.
Me practicing tennis serves. Any suggestions? I know I have a tendency to drop my head in hoping to see where the ball goes. And I'd like my toss arm to go a little higher.
