Sgt. Hacker (Allan Melvin) attempts to give Gomer Pyle (Jim Nabors) some basic instruction in the kitchen. Why? Because Hacker and Carter have placed a bet on whether or not Pyle can cook a meal for the platoon(s) by himself.
