On Jan. 16,2007 I had a surprise visitor. My neighbor bought a vintage Bell 47 helicopter recently. I have been trying for a week to get some good video of it. Today he demonstrated it for me in my own backyard. Thanks Mr. Clemens. What a machine!

On Jan 17.2007 we had 2 inches of ice snow on the ground in Benton,KS. I decided to take my "Snow Plane" out for a spin. The body is from a 1957 BMW Isetta it's powered by a 1945 Lycoming aircraft engine rated at 190 HP. There is no transmission, only the 6 foot diameter wood prop to push the vehicle.
What fun!

I took my Isetta snow plane to Minnesota on Feb.17,07 to be part of an art Event on a frozen lake. I was scared as I drove onto the huge lake but was assured that with it frozen 2 feet thick so even a semi truck could drive on it. I gave rides to 25-30 people did a live demonstration for Channel 4 news. What fun!
