Barney's friends dress up as grown-ups with real jobs. But, Shawn doens't want to grow big. Barney comes to life and tells the gang all about jobs. They start out with a Career March, where Barney recites jobs from A-Z. Then, Barney tells the Gang to associate what you like to what you want to be. The job would be more fun.

Family night is coming up at school. So, the gang show Barney what they are planning for the event. The whole gang has already painted their family picture, except Kathy. The day continues as Barney explains importance of jobs. Min and Derek show the Kathy the importance of money. Barney tells the kids that the best part of a job is helping other people. Kathy pretends to be a waiter in a restaurant. Barney takes out his Super-Dee-Duper Sound Machine, so that the gang can hear and guess at different job sounds.
