Okay you asked for it, so I did some practice pieces and I am ready for a Pearl Knotting Karla Kam! I am teaching it the way I learned it, from Nick Regine of Swarovski, with the Tri-Cord Thread Knot Tool. This like many techniques, gets better with practice.

The coiling gizmo is just that, a gizmo, that can transform wire and a few seed beads into a unique funky bead. I will demonstrate how to make a beaded coiled bead and continuous coils. I may come up with a few other items to show too!
This are fun earrings to wear and to make! I got the idea for this cluster drop from one of our Dion that worked for us in Kansas City! She had actually made a pendant using this technique and I have made some of those before, but why not earrings?

Peyote is a classic stitch and is widely used. It is a technique originated by Native Americans of the Southwest United States. They used it to adorn objects used in religious ceremonies as well as everyday life. We will be learning the basic stitch and create a beautiful bracelet with a Swarovski Button closure.

In this Karla Kam I will demonstrate the Square Stitch. I will go over the stitch using a large seed bead so that you can see the stitch before we work on the bracelet I designed.
Why do you suggest split rings over jump rings? How do I put split rings on? How do you properly open a jump ring and why are some open and some closed? These are some of the questions I answer all the time, so I thought I could demonstrate a few uses and a basic understanding of a few of the tools used to apply them.
Learn to make this beautiful design as Karla Schafer, Auntie's Beads Designer, demonstrates how to crochet a necklace. You can pause and rewind at anytime you want if you missed a step or need to watch it again.
