This is me riding Daunte', my Friesian Thoroughbred 3 yr old stallion, for the first time for both of us at our first official Dressage show. Sorry I had to decrease the quality to include the full test. He was a bit lazy b/c I didn't have my blunt spurs.
Lektra had just begun her riding training at the age of 3 yrs in this clip. It was taken from Dec. 2006 so she's still fairly green broke in it. This video allows you to see 3 gates both directions and her standing still at mounting/dismounting . Lektra is not currently for sale. (10/31/07)
I'm in the process of revising this video due to certain people getting offended. This was only made to be funny, not to put down any style of training or trainer...
Here's Daunte' my 5 yr stallion, playing around with some tricks. I don't really get to work with him much, but I think he has fun. I know he likes treats.
I haven't really ridden him much at all so he's very rusty and out of shape, but I just hopped on him to play around. Please enjoy laughing at me almost fling myself right off of him getting on.
This is Daunte around 3 1/2 years old at a "Ride A Test" practicing Training Level Test 1 before we went to our first Dressage show. This was a while back and he's gotten a little further in training, but feel free to critique. It was hot he he was tired so he looks sluggish.
This is Daunte's first time to try a jumping course. He's 4 years old here. He's not really trained to jump, I was just having fun after riding. I was riding in a Dressage saddle so my stirrups are pretty long. Also, I don't claim to be an accomplished jumper.
This is Dexter, my 20 year old gelding, learning some new tricks. He is my retired show horse and has some arthritis so I don't ask him to bow, but it doesn't stop him. He thinks he's better than Daunte, his buddy. (my other vid)
This is a tribute video to Daunte, my 5 yr old Friesian / Thoroughbred Stallion. I got him when he was a yearling. This vid shows him starting out and what he's become. I have more vids of him riding now but not in this piece.
Kasper is very special to me, so I made a compilation of him. He's lucky he didn't get eaten as a kitten. He has some social issues, but I still love him. Sorry, there's no music, but then you couldn't here the toothbrush.
I took this video when I went to Alaska this summer. Sorry, it's kinda shaky, try not to get sick. I love Orcas and wanted to show beautiful they are. This was a pod passing through.
