what can you say but great. Coltrane performs here with his classic quartet: Coltrane on Tenor and Soprano Sax; McCoy Tyner on Piano; Jimmy Garrison on Bass; and Elviin Jones on Drums.

This is one of the very best live performances I have ever seen by, in my mind, the greatest quartet ever, John Coltrane, McCoy Tyner, Elvin Jones and Jimmy Garrison. JC must have gotten an extra great bag that night!
