Various snippets of Jamie Lidell stopping the show at Seattle's Bumbershoot music festival. Loops and vocals and raw madness plus some soul and also the speakers caught on fire at the end--not a gimmick.
Starts with Silver Jews (headliner from Saturday night) then cuts to Jens Lekman, then to Bonde de Role (from Brazil, the coolest group I've seen here so far--last clip has CSS on stage with them) and finally The National.
For his birthday, Mike and pals Noah and Sandra (and with later help from Frankie) make and serve 20 pizzas in 2 1/2 hours. TOTALLY AWESOME! Thanks everyone.
I've even "remixed" the song a bit. The "real" remix is here: http://www.sneakmove .com/2007/02/gary-ti juana-wet-pets-nasty mix.html Featuring a cameo by the wonderful downtown of El Sobrante. WET PETS SAN PAAAAAABLO.
Bonde Do Role powered through SF for another high-energy show. In the face of some technical trouble they gave their all and showed the crowd why they've been blowing up.
