Royal Caribbean Cruise ship Independence Of The Seas leavng 101 berth in Southampton today 2nd May 2008 at 5pm and passing Cunards Queen Victoria outbound on her maiden voyage across to Cork in Southern Ireland. Also behind Independence is the cruise ship Ventura in 106 berth wich left today about 5:15pm outbound to Vigo.
Royal Caribbean Lines latest Cruise Liner "Liberty of The Seas" entering Southampton docks fresh from Turku in Finland, it is the sister ship of "The Freedom Of The Seas" which was in Southampton last year This clip shows it coming through the haze this morning at about 8:43am passing Town Quay and due to dock at berth 101.

P&O Cruise Ship Oriana sailing down the solent towards Calshot one November day 2005. There is a harbour masters launch clearing the way for the Oriana as it is on its way through Calshot and there is the Red Funnel car/passenger ferry Red Osprey on route to Cowes Isle of Wight.
Viewed from Mayflower Park Cruise Ship "Constellation" owned by Celebrity X Cruises as it leaves from berth 101 for a cruise, it does not come into Southampton very often. This is a sister ship to another of same size as this one called "Millennium" which was in Southampton just over a week ago.

Fifth Hampshire Commercial Vehicle Road sixty-mile Run for all makes of buses, coaches and commercial vehicles. Organised by the Thornycroft Society. The rally started and ended at the Milestones Museum in Basingstoke and the run started at about 10am. The day was a bit cloudy and had been raining, hope you like the video.

Ocean Village Two leaving 106 berth in Southampton Docks at about just after 5pm, with an escort tug spraying water in salute as heads for the mediterranean where she will be based. This is a view from Mayflower Park where I filmed it passing by. She is heard blowing her horns as well as other ships in port.
Ventura the latest cruise ship for P&O passing Calshot during a snowstorm on her way up Southampton water and was bitterly cold morning on 6th April 2008. Filmed later in afternoon from Marchwood and from Millbrook Railway footbridge.
Cunards Queen Victoria leaving berth 38/9 before P&O's Ventura which left berth 106 about 5:15 today 2nd May 2008. QV was going to Le Havre and Ventura going to Vigo.
Royal Caribbean Cruise ship Brilliance Of The Seas sailing past Fawley Oil Refinery down Southampton Water and past Calshot outbound she made a brief visit today and will be back again on 19th May 2008. The ship is one I not seen before and weighs in about 90,000 tons.
